On the morning of April 24, 2024, His Excellency Dr. Hang Pov, Director General of the National Authority for Apsara, was invited to participate in the performance of the martial arts of Savyaliny and Bokator at Angkor (When Shaolin Meets Bokator at Angkor) as part of the campaign “Year of People-to-People Exchange between Cambodia and China 2024,” which was organized in the northern area of the Bayon Temple. This event reflects the attention of the leaders of both governments, especially through the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia and the Hunan Provincial Administration, in strengthening and expanding the friendship between Cambodia and China in accordance with the spirit of “Ironclad Friendship and a Community of Shared Future between Cambodia and China, characterized by depth and substance, as well as the framework for cooperation in the diamond sector between Cambodia and China, focusing on six priority areas, including people-to-people exchanges.”
Please note that this ceremony also saw the participation of representatives from the Siem Reap Provincial Administration, His Excellency HE XIONG, Mayor of Zhengzhou in Hunan Province, and His Excellency Sok Soken, Minister of Tourism. Additionally, there were contributions from leadership, civil servants, and a total of about one thousand citizens.
